They were okay vet until they weren't. Said my dog might have a mass on her mammary gland and wanted to remove it and have it tested. When we picked her up they said we must have let her get into food because she vomited after they administered the anesthesia. My wife and I were very concerned because that's super dangerous and vomit can get in the dogs lungs and cause all sorts of problems. They said it was small kibble, like cat food. WE DON"T EVEN OWN A CAT!!! We were extremely careful that she didn't eat from the night before. They must have not had an eye on here and let her get into another animals food at the vet. There was no way she go into food on our watch. They denied it could have been their fault and refused to take blame. The surgery site got infected. I kept taking her back and they kept telling me to do hot compresses and it would drain. I was doing about 15 - 20 hot compresses a day and it was only getting worse. Finally, we decided to take her to the local emergency vet because she was having problems in the middle of the night. They cut a few stitches and a ton, and absolute TON of puss came out. They actually took us in back so we could see how bad it was. I had taken her to countryside the day before and they were okay with it even though here site was hot and inflamed. Turns out Countryside didn't give her antibiotics like they should have after the surgery because they had her on them when she had the surgery and forgot she would need to have more after the surgery. The mass came back negative after waiting and waiting and waiting, I think it took over 3 weeks to get a result, not their fault because they send it to a lab. So yeah, pointless excessive surgery and almost killed my dogs, TWICE! NEVER AGAIN!

The entire staff is so caring, I've taken my pets to Countryside for over 15 years. In that time Dr. Rick performed a surgery on my beloved Jack Russell Rocky. My husband and I were not able to afford the $700.00 surgery, Dr. Rick asked if he could perform an experimental surgery to fix is front leg. We agreed, the surgery was a success! The only payment we had was the medication, the surgery was no charge. This is the kind of man Dr. Rick is and I am happy to recommend the clinic. Dr. Beach has helped me in many ways with my German Shepherd who has allergies and aggression issues. I cannot say enough good about everyone there.
