KALISPELL - A man has been found guilty in a 2021 shooting death outside a Kalispell gym. A jury found Jonathon Douglas Shaw guilty of one count of deliberate homicide and one count of attempted deliberate homicide on Thursday, July 14, 2023. Shaw opened fire and killed a Fuel Fitness employee in Kalispell in September of 2021. The charges filed carry a maximum life term in the Montana State Prison. A sentencing hearing for Shaw has been set for Sept. 21, 2023, in Flathead County District Court.
