(Photo: Getty Images) KALISPELL, Mont. — Officials are planning to raise water rates in Kalispell. City Council members approved a resolution of intent Monday night. Proposed rate increases include 15% for fiscal years 2024 and 2025, 10% for 2026 and 3% for 2027. If passed, the rate increase will impact residential and commercial, irrigation and private fire protection and will help pay for increased costs of running and maintaining the water system.
